Terms of Use
Last updated: November 4, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Menumou website,
applications, digital menu, online ordering and call-the-waiter services, and the Menumou
connector for ChatGPT and other AI assistants (together, the "Service").
The Service is operated by Kimvix L.P., trading as Menumou
("Menumou", "we", "us", "our"), with registered address at Alexandrou Palli 3, 45332 Ioannina,
Greece. Company registration number (G.E.MI.): 184873129000. Tax identification number (A.F.M.):
802898663. We operate menumou.eu.
The Service is provided to businesses. By using the Service you confirm that you are acting in the
course of your business or profession and not as a consumer.
By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that
you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use
the Service. If you accept these Terms on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the
authority to bind that business, and "you" includes that business.
1. The Service
Menumou provides restaurants, cafés and similar businesses with a hosted digital menu, reached
through a QR code and a web address, and, depending on your plan, related features such as menu
creation and updates, product photos, online ordering and a "call the waiter" function. We also
make the Service available through a connector (MCP server) that lets you read and edit your
menus from supported AI assistants such as ChatGPT.
Features depend on your plan and may change over time. We do not guarantee that any particular
feature will remain available forever (see section 11).
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
- You sign in with a magic-link email or a supported third-party provider such as Google. You
are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date, and you must have the right to
publish the business, menu and product information you upload.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account, including actions
taken through the AI assistant connector, and for ensuring that anyone else you allow to use
your account complies with these Terms.
- Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect
unauthorised access to your account.
3. Plans, fees and billing
- The current plans are Menumou DIY (€20 + VAT per semester),
Menumou Full (€40 + VAT per semester) and
Menumou Photos (€60 + VAT per semester). A semester is six (6) months.
- Prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT (currently 24% for Greek businesses) and any other
applicable taxes are added at checkout where required by law.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically for each new
semester unless cancelled before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorise us and our
payment provider to charge your selected payment method on each renewal until you cancel.
- Payments are processed by Revolut and other payment providers. We do not
store full card details ourselves. Your use of those services may also be subject to the
provider's own terms.
- We may offer free trials or discount coupons from time to time. When a trial or discount
ends, the subscription continues at the then-current price unless you cancel before the trial
or discount period ends.
- We may change our prices. We will give you reasonable notice before a change takes effect
for your subscription, and you may cancel before it applies.
- If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend or terminate the Service until the amount
is paid.
4. Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by contacting us.
Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current period.
- Unless a refund is required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable and we do not
provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods or for features you did not use.
- Because the Service is provided to businesses, the statutory consumer right of withdrawal
(the EU "cooling-off" period) does not apply to your subscription.
- We may offer a refund or credit at our discretion where required for customer service.
5. Your content and licence
- You keep ownership of the menu content, text, images, logos and other material you upload
("Your Content").
- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, format,
display, translate, resize and otherwise process Your Content solely as needed to operate,
provide and improve the Service, including showing your menu to the public through your QR
code, web address and the AI assistant connector.
- You are solely responsible for Your Content. You confirm that you have all necessary rights
to upload it and that it is accurate, lawful and not misleading — in particular, that prices,
allergens and product descriptions comply with the rules that apply to your business.
- You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, hateful,
discriminatory or that promotes illegal products or services, and you must remove it promptly
if we ask you to.
- We may remove or refuse content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or
applicable law, but we are not obliged to monitor Your Content.
6. AI assistant connector (ChatGPT / MCP)
- The connector is an optional feature. When you connect it, you authorise the AI assistant
to read and, where you grant it, change your menus on your behalf for the scopes you approve.
- Changes made through the connector (for example changing prices, adding or removing
products) take effect on your live menu immediately. You are responsible for
reviewing changes made through your account, including changes requested by others
who have access to it.
- Your use of a third-party AI assistant is governed by that provider's terms and privacy
policy, not by ours. Prompts, tool calls and related data may be processed by that provider.
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle
data.
- AI assistants can produce inaccurate or unexpected results. We do not control, and are not
responsible for, output generated by a third-party AI assistant, and we do not warrant that
the AI assistant will interpret your instructions correctly. Always verify important changes.
- You can revoke a connected assistant at any time from the plugin page in your account. Once
revoked, the connector stops working and the AI assistant must reconnect to regain access.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or
its infrastructure;
- scrape, harvest or bulk-download data from the Service, or use automated means to access it
other than through the interfaces we provide;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to
the extent permitted by law;
- resell, sublicense or make the Service available to third parties as your own product
without our written consent;
- use the "call the waiter" or ordering features to send abusive, false or excessive
requests; or
- infringe the rights of Menumou or any third party.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including hosting and cloud providers, email
delivery, payment processing (such as Revolut) and AI assistant platforms (such as OpenAI).
Their services may be unavailable from time to time, and we are not responsible for their acts
or omissions. Your use of a third-party service may be subject to separate terms.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text (other than Your Content), logos, trademarks
and the Menumou name, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property
laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the
Service in accordance with these Terms for the duration of your subscription. All rights not
expressly granted are reserved.
If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use
them without restriction or obligation to you.
10. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available and to fix issues promptly, but we do not promise
uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance,
updates, outages or events beyond our control. Support is available at
[email protected].
11. Changes to the Service
We may add, change or remove features, and may suspend or discontinue the Service or any part
of it. Where a material change significantly reduces the functionality you paid for, we will
give you reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a pro-rata refund or the right to cancel.
12. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your payment fails,
if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service would expose us or others to
risk. Where practical, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the issue.
- You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time.
- On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may delete or deactivate your menu
after a reasonable period. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of Your Content.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available",
and we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose,
merchantability, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet
your requirements, that menus or AI-assisted edits will be error-free, or that the Service will
be uninterrupted or secure. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot
be excluded under applicable law.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special,
consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out
of or related to the Service. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the
Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months
preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that applicable law does not allow us to
exclude or limit. In particular, nothing here limits our liability for intent or gross
negligence, or for anything else that cannot be waived under mandatory Greek law.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable
legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms,
to the extent permitted by law.
16. Data protection
Our handling of personal data is described in our
Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Where you upload personal data of your staff or customers, you are responsible for having a
lawful basis and for complying with the GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.
17. Amendments to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by
email or in the Service before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the changes
take effect means you accept the updated Terms. The current version is always available at
menumou.eu/terms-of-service.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. The courts of Ioannina, Greece, have exclusive
jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
19. Miscellaneous
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign
ours, including in connection with a merger or sale of assets.
- These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout,
are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service.
